Holiday Inn Austin Midtown
Holiday Inn Austin Midtown Reviews

Review:

The Holiday Inn Austin Midtown is clean and comfortable. The rooms and hallways are especially big, making the whole place feel like a luxurious 5-star hotel (without paying those rates). The bathrooms are a little bit smaller in proportion, but they aren’t lacking in any of the necessities. There’s a restaurant downstairs that offers hot breakfasts every morning. Guests can save a few dollars if they pay for the breakfast while booking their room, which is definitely worth it. I can venture ... Read More

Hostelling International Austin
Hostelling International Austin Reviews

Review:

We stayed here during SxSW '09. It's a pretty nice hostel. It has a big grassy area and docks leading up to a lake. It's quite pretty. There is also a private parking lot in front. There's a communal kitchen with free bread, which comes in handy for your drunk, late-night munchies, oh and breakfast.

There are some smaller rooms for 4 or 6 people, but there is also a large dormitory room with many, many beds. Luckily, I was in a 6 person room, which was fine. They have lockers you sho... Read More

The Japanese decor and elegant, plant-lined commons made me forget I was in Austin for a second. Some bottom floor rooms have a spa, and everyone can access the small pool and hot tub outside. The artwork in the hallway walls is a nice touch, and the rooms are modern and nice. The shower has a glass wall so you can see your room - or whoever is showering - unless you pull the shade down. Kinda cool.

The hotel was one of the most beautiful and historic places I've ever seen and I would Love to go back.

If you want to stay quite literally on the University of Texas campus, this is the one and only option. The hotel is very nice, and the location cannot be beat for UT sports events, and parents visiting students.

Austin's Inn at Pearl Street Reviews

Review:

This charming hotel is tucked across the street from the University of Texas campus, and there are tons of exciting attractions nearby. Offering a touch of personality and loads of luxury, Austin’s Inn provides a nice reprieve from the day-to-day doldrums. Guests will feel like they’re walking through a museum. Each room has its own decorative theme, and all of the colors and fabric choices compliment each other beautifully. There’s a lovely courtyard outside with flowers and patio tables. Th... Read More

Pecan Grove RV Park
Pecan Grove RV Park Reviews

Review:

If you have an RV, this place is the best possible place to set up camp. The lot is covered by the Pecan trees, is located right off the lake downtown, surrounded by local restaurants, next to Zilker Park, and Barton Springs Pool. This is a smaller RV park, so make reservations early!

Review:

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised upon walking into this place. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but when you walk into the room it's way better than you'd expect. That being said, it's still your very basic hotel. Nothing fancy at all and I'd only suggest staying here if you won't be in the room much. The lobby is pretty small, but big enough to offer continental breakfast and a computer to print your boarding pass if needed. The employee who assisted me was very friendly. I'd recom... Read More
