Walt Disney Concert Hall
Walt Disney Concert Hall Reviews

Review:

A beautiful venue to listen to classical music. Love walking around it before the show to find really cool hidden parts of the venue as well as the numerous artwork/wacky things in side. Going inside the actual hall, the music is vibrant, and wherever you sit, I think you get a great listen of the music. Wonderful stuff. Park underneath or Uber.

Spire 73
Spire 73 Reviews

Want to impress a date, some clients, or a group of friends? Bring them here during golden hour at the tallest open air lounge West of the Mississippi. For sure the most stunning view of all the rooftops in DTLA. It looks like they now charge a cover depending on what time you plan on going which is a bummer but I can understand why. The journey itself is cool too as you go through the vibrant lobby and have to switch elevators in order to access Spire 73 (definitely builds the anticipation).... Read More

One of freeways you definitely get use to when living in SoCal. It is a pain driving during rush hour. Hopefully they can expand and make improvements to the lanes.

BonaVista Lounge
BonaVista Lounge Reviews

Review:

There are plenty of places to grab an overpriced drink in LA. If you want to do so in a bar with can't-be-beat views that is mercifully free of hipsters and scenesters, albeit with a dated '90s decor, the BonaVista Lounge is for you. Located almost at the top of the Westin Bonaventure, this is the only revolving restaurant in California. The food menu is limited, but serviceable and the some of the small bites fm took as full-size and are decently priced for a hotel restaurant. Visit soon bef... Read More

Ed P. Reyes River Greenway
Ed P. Reyes River Greenway Reviews

Review:

A great spot of green in a formerly industrial neighborhood, the Greenway is half park, half bioswale and as such, provides an opportunity to stroll among the flora while providing an opportunity to appreciate the fact that urban runoff water Spurs most of the plant growth here while allowing the water to filter itself clean as it infiltrates back into the water table.

Worth a visit for its natural and educational value. (The adjacent Metro tracks add some urban character to thi... Read More

La Brea Tar Pits & Museum
La Brea Tar Pits & Museum Reviews

Review:

There is an exhibit that invites you to “discover what it’s like to be stuck in tar!” That pretty much sums up this amazing place: fascinating and horrifying. You definitely feel for the mammoth‘s they got stuck in oil and then ripped apart by predators but without their sacrifice we would know far less about the Ice Age.
