My boyfriend recently surprised me with a day at Great America. We had a pretty good time however was disappointed that most of the rides we would want to go on would involve me needing to rent a $15 per day locker. Yes, everything costs lots of money here: storage, food, and souvenirs (unless you go to the clearance gift shop). But overall, this is a family centered amusement park that seems to frown on childless couples.

Sign up for an adult racing session or junior (smaller car) racing session. This location is pretty crowded on the weekend and unless you’re booked a party you can’t make a reservation so best to try to come in person to book a spot in the morning and return later. My 11 year old loved it!

One of South Bay's noraebang, it's not the best but close proximity to VIP. If you haven't been there, I highly suggest you check it out before singing!
In case you didn't know, I love singing karaoke. Regardless if I'm not talented, I'll sing my heart out. Strung out on soju and Korean food sitting well in my stomach, I've been here a few times before they started serving alcohol. Yes! They finally got a liquor license. Bonus points!
Rooms are kept clean, comfy seating, spaci... Read More

This bowling alley is fairly clean despite a bit run down. The equipment seemed old and there were minor hiccups here and there. I played a couple games on a Saturday afternoon. I probably would not have came to this bowling alley if not for the 2 hours all you can bowl coupon my friend got. ($8.99 per person with shoes rental included)
Pretty average bowling alley in general. Don't expect much in terms of ambiance.

A nice corporate building with a pretty atrium in the center. I came here for a preview of the new Santa Clara 49ers Stadium, as this is the current office where the 49ers have set up their Preview Center. ,

This is the home of the 49ers and their playing field. I got a free stadium tour and a look into Levi's Field. Hint: It's going to really cool!

This is a luxurious movie theater that has VIP seating, restaurant, lounge, and bar. The second floor of this theater has the VIP seating that is adult only. The heated seats are very comfortable with spacious aisles. There are generous rewards when you sign up. I got the chance to come here before it opens to the general admission as I am a rewards member and it was wonderful! I especially love all the free refills on the Freestyle soda! It officially opens this Friday. Bargain days a... Read More

My boyfriend and I pretty much come here for the restaurants. The restaurants we have eaten at here are Chipotle, Jersey Mike's, Smashburger, and, Red Robin. There are no stores that interest me here, but it is a great place for food.

My boyfriend and I like to come here for the free events. However most of the free events are child-centered and we are childless. Still, this is one of my favorite local art museums to explore. Lots of local and upcoming artists present their works here. Sometimes they have events where you can watch the artists do their drawings. I recall once meeting a young skateboard artist and was fascinated by the detail of his drawings.
