Fort Cooper State Park

Again anothe neat Florida State Park. We detoured there on a whim and hiked about 2 miles. Lovely quiet park with wonderful trails and a lake. There were Sandhill cranes there which made it good since we were birding/photographing. Very distressing was the Red Bay that has suffered from the Ambrosia beetle and laural wilt. Many dead plants through out the park. It looks like they have planted new ones but they are beginning to suffer the same fate.
