Best place in San Diego for a lively nightlife, an area full of shops, restaurants, outdoor cafes, bars, pubs and night clubs. Always very crowded yet I end up here every time I am in San Diego.
Staying at the Marriott gas lamp district in San Diego. Beautiful hotel. Close to concert venue next door Petco Stadium! So convenient! Restaurants right there!
Gather you things and head down to the district where you can find it alllll.
There is always something fun and different to experience. You never know what you might find.
This is a "must see" area of San Diego if your here for a great time and cool people.
The San Diego gaskamp has a wide array of assorted shops and restaurants ranging from American cuisine to Indian food. Very vibrant with lots of bars to hangout at. Very close to Petco park so you can grab a meal or a drink before or after the game.
A good place for nightlife. Weekends tend to attract more tourists. Hood for a walk.
Great places for food, drink and nightlife. A lovely historic part of San Diego with a great feel to it.
Too upity more alcohol and bars then needed a true stentch of urine and feces sorry
Fun to walk around and people watch. There are some nice bars, but they cater to tourists. Far more expensive than other areas in San Diego.
Very cute and nice to walk though, but unless you go for a meal, there is not much else there to do.
Such a cool part of America's Finest city... Shops, food, drinks & entertainment... It's all here for the taking.
My friends and I stayed in a nearby Air BnB so we could go out here. Had so much fun out late night at the bars. It was crowded but not overbearing. Some food stands and restaurants stay open to cater to those with the "drunchies" and absolutely need some good drunk food. Double deuce I think was the bar we hung out at. Mechanical bull. Country vibes. Lot of fun.
Great dining and streets closed off at night to walk around without worry of cars. Take a Lyft!
In the olden days, this area was crime-ridden. The city of San Diego did a wonderful job of urban renewal here. Lots of interesting ethnic restaurants. And for the younger crowd, its a party mecca after the diners have gone off to the theaters or elsewhere.
Eating, drinking, architechtural delights, theater, opera, and the San Diego Bay attractions.
This is a fun area in San Diego to enjoy exploring different shops and restaurant throughout the day and has a active night life.
Lots and lots of bars with an occasional restaurant mixed in. A place for the homeless to hang out.
So much fun. Great place for small or large groups to link up and go out for drinks and/or a night on the town!
Wonderful place for cocktails and dinner. You will love the entertainment on the weekends.
