This is a wonderful facility for cactus league spring training! I was very impressed with the food stations, seating, restrooms ... basically, everything. Will definitely be back.

Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is a stadium complex located in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community near Scottsdale, Arizona, at the former site of the Indian Bend Country Club. It serves as the Major League Baseball spring training facility for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies, replacing Tucson Electric Park for the Diamondbacks and Hi Corbett Field for the Rockies. The complex represents the first MLB park to be built on Native American Indian land.[3]

Meet up with family and friends for the afternoon. Weather is awesome in March. Cheap tickets. Decent food and drinks. Bring your blanket or pool towel if you sit on the lawn otherwise you'll have a sweaty bottom.

The balloon fest was very costly for what they had, and not a piece of candy on site for my three little trick or treaters. Evan though they advertised it.

Newest and closest spring training field. Not even 10 minutes south on the 101. Many more fields all over the valley!

State of the art stadium complex for Cactus League Spring Training for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies. Touted at the finest training facility in the country, this brand new (2011) site consists of 12 practice fields including the main ball park for spring training games for 15 baseball teams based in the Valley for spring training. The facility sits on 140 acres, has 7000 installed seats, and room for another 4000+ spectators on a grassy hillside. There are luxury suites, and a kids zone play area as well. It is a truly a baseball fan's paradise!
