Yummy southern classics and rotating beers. Kids menu. It's got a few different locations apparently, this one was the first we found.

Try the biscuits with the homemade jam and tupelo honey! So wonderful! The mega mimosa is definitely worth it too!

We have been eating at Tupelo Honey Cafe for a long time. Every time we come to Asheville we make sure we stop in for dinner at least one night during our stay. The food is delicious and creative. I especially love the home made biscuits and blueberry jam.

New Southern Comfort food at its finest. Serving brunch, lunch and dinner, in downtown Asheville, you can't go wrong with a meal here.

Melina B

Great breakfast menu! Huge portions, so you may want to split the Sweet Potato Pancakes between you and your friend.

Joshua Cooper

A great place to get feel good Southern food with a local flair. The Tupelo Honey Cafe had excellent service, quality ingredients and classic menu items. A diverse collection of craft beers was the icing on the cake.

Award Winning Breakfast just steps away from the Loft at 51 College. https://tupelohoneycafe.com/location/downtown-asheville

Truly Breathless

One of Asheville's best breakfast...... anytime. Always a line so go early.

Sherry M

Very popular restaurant - especially for breakfast! Gave it 4 of 5 because you have to reserve and sometimes wait awhile, so plan ahead and you won't be disappointed!

Down home southern cooking with some unique twists. This place almost always has waiting line in season. Get their early for lunch. Some outside seating, weather permitting.

Is there anything better than organic Southern comfort food? I've eaten at a ridiculous number of restaurants in North Cackalacky, and I don't know if I've ever tasted a better sampling of our cuisine. Come for breakfast and get their famous sweet potato pancake. Lunch or dinner, try just about every non-barbeque NC delicacy there is: fried okra, buttermilk chicken, fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, shrimp and grits. Plus, their menu for the little ones respects kids' culinary intelligence.

Down home cooking. Fresh biscuits and fried chicken. Super sweet potato pancakes. Great family place. An Asheville institution.

My parents took us there for lunch during our first visit... outstanding service and local food!

We love this place the only problem is so does everyone. The wait can be very long

If you like shrimp & grits, this is a must visit place. Specialize in "neuveau Southern" cooking. We prefer the downtown, College Street location over the Hendersonville Rd. newer location by a country mile.

This is the place you want to go for good food and for great people-watching from their outdoor patio. Great selection, including gluten free fare and awesome desserts. Do try to sit outdoors if you can - Asheville has by far some of the most talented street musicians and performers.

So many great breakfast spots in downtown Asheville it's hard to choose a favorite. This one is delicious and very close to Mayfel's - see which has the shorter wait, both are great spots.

Oh my!!! The food here is not to be missed. The veggie bowl with goat cheese grits, fried okra, a black eyed pea type salsa and collard greens was to die for.
The meals start with huge biscuits with blueberry jelly and tupelo honey. So tasty.
Eat here!
