Loved the Harry Potter ride, Felt like I was in the movie. The Butter Beer was yummy!
I was only there for one day but it was not enough! I’m a big Harry Potter fan and this place was like a dream!
It is the closest you can get to actually going to Hogwarts. Any Harry Potter fan would fall in love with this place.
Universal may suck, but the Wizarding World doesn’t! It’s really immersive, and the merchandise available is typically good quality! You must try butterbeer and a cauldron cake!
The details put into this place are simply amazing. If you are a Harry Potter fan, you need to see this place.
This place is amazing even if you aren't a Harry Potter fan! Note that the rides are all more adult-oriented (I'm a chicken who suffers from motion sickness so I couldn't ride anything) but even non-riders can enjoy the incredible attention to detail. And get the butterbeer! It's a nonalcoholic butterscotch Slurpee!
Are you Harry Potter fanatics like us? Visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and sip on butterbeer, pick up your very own wand, indulge in magical candies at Honeydukes, and get your pranks on at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a two park adventure, meaning you will need a ticket to both parks to enjoy both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Don't forget to ride the Hogwart's Express!
Love this place. Always makes magic feel so real. My only wish is that it wasn't always so packed. Too many tourists.
i think i cried the first time i went to hogsmead... and again when they opened diagon alley. the details in these places are truly magical. JK Rowling would be proud. i love visiting here no matter the time of year. get the butter beer! hot, cold, frozen, ice cream!
Very adventure in the theme park. Get ready to walk with sneakers and stay fresh
Amazing experience for Harry Potter fans! The rides are cool but most spectacular is the reproduction of the magical world in great loving detail. A few practical tips: The Hogsmeade/Hogwarts is in a separate park from London/Diagon Alley. You will need to buy a 2-Park pass to See both. You can start in either park and will take the Hogwarts Express train (a very cool ride in and of itself) to get to the other park. For those who want an early start: Park opens at 9am but I recommend getting to the parking at 8am because it takes 30 min to walk through the City Walk shopping to get to the HP world entrance. The Hogwarts Ride has the best queue ever... you wind through the castle classrooms, halls and even Dumbeldore’s study. But the ride was too intense for my 1st grader. She survived but was a little traumatized.
I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but have been here twice. It's good fun and there are state of the art rides. However one time one ride broken down part way through leaving us dangling for about 20 minutes. When it restarted we were zoomed straight out, rather than continue and I couldn't be bothered to queue up again - hence I have put four rather than five stars.
Hogwarts Express was a good idea to the other park and we enjoyed the shadows on that!
Have to say I wan't keen on butter beer, but was impressed with the little details like the wand shop and post office, etc.
All in all good fun, but prefer other areas of Universal.
If you are a Harry Potter fan it is a must see!
i remember coming here a couple of weeks after it opened and when we were walking through the streets of the wizarding world, it felt so unreal
