Always a nice place to chill with a glass of wine and some apps. Great Dinner menu.
In the center of Balboa Park with lovely terraces open to the lush canyon. I was married here and love the ambiance. Rich Spanish architecture, five star dining inside and elegance. Patio dining and Large Cantina bar. Great place to feel the glow of all things San Diego.
One of our favorites in Balboa Park. Hint: Go past the reception desk to the outdoor seating. There are a few couches and bar tables that you don't need reservations for. These are almost always available. There is a breeze blowing even on the hottest days and you might even get to watch a wedding taking place in the garden below. We love the fried green beans and the potstickers.
Balboa park is awesome! If you have kids don't forget to visit the science center! Mind blowing science and fun! We love the toy train museum too!
Expensive food that is merely edible. Waitress brought my daughter an adult portion of food we didn't order but had to pay for. I won't be going there to eat again.
Way overpriced compared to some excellent (and also-spendy) restaurants doing much more interesting things downtown.
We enjoyed a terrific lunch with Pinajito drinks.....a Mojito with fresh pineapple. We enjoyed the appetizer with skewers of shrimp, chicken and steak. The tres Leches Cake on pistachio meringue was a real treat and very unusual. Excellent service!
One of the Cohn Group restaurants, which are all good. The Prado has a piano bar at night, and a lovely patio for lunch during the day.
Great location in the heart of Balboa Park. Excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices. Pretty good happy hour. Ample seating inside and out and open seating in large bar area is very convenient. Space can be rented out for private events.
Great ambitious with good food. Also a wedding venue site. Beautiful for photographers also.
Great service and delicious food, but what is really nice is the ambiance here. A nice place to eat when you are out strolling around Balboa Park with your out of town company. The only drawback is that the parking is always at a premium here, so you might have to walk a ways to get to the restaurant.
I came here for Easter Brunch which was an elaborate and yummy assortment of food. I especially loved the chocolate fountain. Regardless or the occasion, this is a lovely spot located in the heart of Balboa Park making it a great place for visitors.
It's alive with street performers, musicians, make-up artists, balloon creators. People walk their dogs, etc..
