Mingjiao Temple (Mingjiao si)is one of China's state-protected Buddhist complexes. Mingjiao Temple is located on the ancient Jiaonu Terrace (Cao Cao DianJiang Tai). It is in the south of Xiaoyaojin Park in Hefei city, Anhui Province. The temple began construction in the A.D. 502-557. It has 1500 years of history and was restored many times.

        The palace is divided into the main hall and the later palace. There are more than 30 images of Buddha. The Grand Treasure palace has upturned eave corner with the wind-bell clang. There is a giant tin bottle gourd erected on the palace roof where the silver lights sparkle straight to the sky. The bell and drums sound together when the wind blows.

        The constructions of Mingjiao Temple consist of the Mountain Gate, the Son of Heaven Palace, the Grand Treasure Palace, the Dizang Palace, the reception room, the Liao room and so on.
